Dropout Chai Wala is the story of a dropout student from an undergraduate business school who is bringing authentic street chai to Melbourne. For the past 21 years, he had seen his mother drink a cup of chai every day. By dropping out from business school, our founder Sanjith Konda House would like to take an opportunity to spread his mother’s love of Chai to Melbourne, from where the idea of Dropout Chai Wala was born – a dropout who prepares chai, a drink that brings families and friends together at any hour of the day, leaving a flawless experience behind. Walk into our store to share this experience with your near & dear ones, here on the streets of Melbourne.

Our chai’s are made from naturally sourced ingredients, served in 8 flavours – Classic cutting chai, Cardamon Chai, Masala Chai, Ginger Chai, Lemon Grass Chai, Saffron Chai and one our own Mystery Chai. We also offer a wide range of quick bites hand-selected to complement whichever delicious chai you’re interested in experiencing.
